Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene of a suspected workplace shooting in Kennesaw, GA.  According to reports from FOX5 Atlanta, the shooting happened at a Fed-Ex facility near Atlanta.  Police now say the shooting suspect is dead.  The associated press reports it was an apparent suicide.

FOX News says the gunman was described by a witness as a package handler to the facility and he carried an assault rifle, knife and bullets strapped across his chest "like Rambo."  A bomb team from the FBI is on the scene and assisting in the investigation.

The Associated Press reports police found that the gunmen had explosive devices but did not use them. Cobb County Police spokesmen Dana Pierce described the devices as "molotov cocktails."

Officials from Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA say they've received six patients from the shooting. Injuries range from minor to one person in critical condition. Kennestone is a Level II Trauma Center.

A spokesperson from Fed-Ex released a statement saying, "FedEx is aware of the situation. Our primary concern is the safety and well being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities."

Michael Hogland, a driver at the FedEx facility, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "(My boss) called me about 6 o'clock this morning saying there was a guy inside, shot the security guard. He had a gun pointed at him and said, 'Don’t worry about getting here on time.'"

FOX News and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
