Elkhart Co. Sheriff wants public to know officers better

Posted:
Elkhart County officers are trying to better connect with the community.  The Sheriff's Department is hosting a series of public meetings so residents can better get to know the police who protect them.

Sheriff Brad Rogers is also using this opportunity to remind county residents about all the ways they can contact police, even anonymously.  The Sheriff's Department has active accounts on Citizen Observer, Facebook, and Twitter.  If you need to send more sensitive information, you can email the department or post an anonymous tip on the www.elkhartcountysheriff.com "tip line."

A list of the meeting dates, times, and locations, is below.  Officers at each meeting serve the specific township, so the sheriff recommends you go to the meeting matching your township.
