Volunteers needed for 2014 Four Winds Invitational

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and its Four Winds casinos, are looking for 200 volunteers for the 2014 Four Winds Invitational, which will be held from Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd.  An additional 20 volunteers are needed for the 5K Run and Fitness Walk, which will be held on Sunday, June 15th. 

Both events will be held at Blackthorn Golf Club (6100 Nimtz Parkway, South Bend).

For the golf tournament, volunteers are need to fill such roles as caddies, cart and shuttle drivers, food and beverage servers, and scorers.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years old before June 1st, and must pay a $25 fee by June 1st for a tournament shirt, hat, and one round of golf at Blackthorn Golf Club.  Food and beverages will be provided to volunteers on each day of service.  Anyone with questions about volunteer opportunities can call Ben Mesaros at 574-232-4653.

For the 5K Run and Fitness Walk, volunteers are need for registration, being course marshals, and for post-race logistics.  Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and will need to be at the Blackthorn Golf Club from 6:30am to 9:30am the day of the event.  Anyone wanting more information, or to sign up, can contact Ryan Fenstermaker at rfenstermake@yahoo.com.
