South Bend police investigating overnight shooting

South Bend police are looking for whoever shot a 22-year-old, early Sunday morning.

Police say the man was driving some friends home around 3:30am when it happened. The victim told police he was near the intersection of Lincolnway West and Olive when he heard four or five gunshots. He was shot in the elbow and taken to the hospital by a friend. He had non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, police say they got several shot spotter notifications from the area and found shell casings at the scene, but don't have a named suspect at this time.
