Mishawaka athletes sign letters of intent

Posted:
Mishawaka High School celebrated three of their athletes who signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college on Wednesday.  Kaitlin Elsasser signed to play basketball at Bethel College, Hannah Roth signed to run track at Bethel College, and Aaron Hensley signed to run track at Tiffin University.

Bethel's newest basketball player, Kaitlin Elsasser was excited to sign her letter of intent.  "When I first visited Bethel, I thought 'No way, it is only five minutes from my house. I could never be this close to home,'" Elsasser said. "But then I visited and the whole atmosphere of Bethel really brought me into the campus, the teammates were awesome."

Kaitlin will not be the only Caveman staying in Mishawaka for college.  Future Bethel runner, Hannah Roth can't wait to start running for the Pilots.  "I am so excited, because I get to do track for the next four years," Roth said, "and I have a couple girls who are at Bethel that I know."

Mishawaka track star, Aaron Hensley signed on with Tiffin University.  "I want the whole package and Tiffin is giving me that," Hensley said, "We are going down south for every meet, five star hotels, flying, what more can you ask for, the biggest meets in the nation for track, it is going to be awesome."
