A father is behind bars in Kosciusko County after police say he was cooking meth in his apartment with his son present.  Warsaw Police say undercover officers bought meth from 34-year-old Steven Iden II, then determined he had been making it himself in his North Webster apartment.

Police went to the apartment around 7:00am on Tuesday.  When they entered the building on the 500 block of S. Main Street, they say there was a strong chemical smell and haze in the air.  Officers say they found Iden trying to dispose of meth making materials.

Iden's 9-year-old son was also in the apartment.  He is currently in protective custody by Child Protective Services.

Iden is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail facing possible charges of dealing/delivering/manufacturing methamphetamine.  He is being held on $10,000 bond.
