Montgomerie wins Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores

In 1991, Hall of Fame Golfer Colin Montgomerie made his PGA debut in America, but heading into Sunday's final round of the Senior PGA Championship, he had still never won a Major.

However, the 23 year drought finally came to an end  as the 50 year old Scottish golfer won the tournament at Benton Harbor's Harbor Shores, shooting an impressive 13-under-par over his four day win.

"It's a great feeling," said Montgomerie. "I've been very lucky to have won the 40 or so times worldwide and now that's 41 I believe, but it's very special being a Major Champion. I treat it as such, I really do. It might have a senior connotation to it, but it is a major championship. I am thrilled to be part of this history, 75 years it's been going, which is a long, long time and I just love now to be part of history."

U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Tom Watson finished 2nd in the tournament shooting -9.
