Indiana seeking more Hoosiers for well water survey

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management needs your help. They are looking for people who want to have their well water tested.

The agency is looking for a few hundred more people to offer up their well water to be tested, in order to reach their geographic coverage goal for its 2014 Groundwater Assessment Survey. IDEM sent out groundwater survey forms to thousands of people who use well water as their main source of water at home. The data that they collect will give the agency the chance to analyze water quality in the Hoosier state. Their goal is to evaluate groundwater quality in different regions based on various factors such as geology, land use, and depth of water and wells.
