Saint Mary's College celebrates Annual Reunion Weekend

Posted:
Alums are returning to Saint Mary's College this weekend for their Annual Reunion Weekend.  This years reunion welcomes over 1,000 former students.

They break down the classes coming back each year. This year's reunion is for the "fours and the nines" meaning the women who graduated in a year that ends in either four or nine were invited back to campus.

Director of Alumni Relations Kara O'Leary says these women came here at 18 to 22 women and a lot has happened to them over the years.  "They come back here and they are reminded what helped shape them, and who they are today, and the friends that were with them along the way," O'Leary said.

Beth Johnson and Jennifer Hogan, Class of 1994, became life friends at their first day of registration. They are still friends to this day.  "It is the best experience of our lives," Hogan said. "We didn't know how our lives were going to change, and these friendships we've made, and education we received. It's just made us who we are."
