South Bend woman says she was abducted and driven to LaPorte

Police are looking for man who may have abducted a woman.  Police were called out on Wednesday around 8:30pm after, as witnesses told police, the woman jumped out of a white pick-up truck in LaPorte yelling.

Police say the victim is a 43-year-old woman from South Bend.  The woman told police she was bound around the wrists and forced into the truck.  She jumped out of the truck and went into a nearby Taco Bell.  Officers on the scene say the woman had marks consistent with being restrained.

A witness described the truck as a white extended-cab Dodge pick-up.  The driver was described as a "stocky" white male with balding hair.
