Sports memorabilia forfeited to repay Ball State

What do Mickey Mantle and Mike Tyson have in common? They're helping one man pay up, after he pleaded guilty to wire fraud for his role in an investment fraud scheme that took $3.8 million out of Ball State University's pocket.

A 46 year old, George Montolio of New York City, has agreed to forfeit an autographed Mickey Mantle baseball jersey and an autographed pair of Mike Tyson boxing gloves to help pay for his restitution. Along with giving up the staple memorabilia pieces, he's also agreed to hand over four house-style apartment buildings in Bronx, New York. The list doesn't end there though, he will also forfeit a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro,

Montolio isn't the only one whose pulled a fast one on Ball State. 37 year old Seth Beoku Betts of Florida was involved in another investment fraud scheme against the university. He handed over a $1 million waterfront home in Palm Beach County, but here's the kicker, he bought it with Ball State's money.
