One person injured in morning house fire in Osceola


One person was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury after a house fire broke out in Osceola Wednesday morning.

Just before 7:00am Wednesday morning, St. Joseph County crews responded to reports of a house fire on the 10250 block of Glenwood Ave. Crews were able to get a handle on the blaze quickly, and reported the fire as being under control at 7:15am.

Dispatchers confirmed the homeowner suffered a burn on the hand and was transported to a nearby hospital, but were not sure whether he would need to be admitted.
