3-year-old South Bend girl rescues Dad

A South Bend man falls and knocks himself unconscious.  The only person home -- his 3-year-old daughter

Alexis Langley is a typical 3-year-old girl. But what little Alexis did on Tuesday was anything but typical. Her dad Matt walked upstairs to grab something.

"I got to the top of the stairs, I started feeling light headed, I guess I just went straight backwards," says Matt Langley of South Bend.

Falling down 13 steps, Matt lay unconscious. With no one else home, little Alexis sprang into action.  She ran to the bottom of her stairs where her father was laying.

Alexis then went to the living room and grabbed the phone. Her family didn't even know that she knew how to dial.
She called 911 and Matt's girlfriend Kate.  Once the paramedics arrived on the scene, Alexis opened the front door which has three locks.

Langley had some soft tissue damage in his shoulder but he should be okay.  Her Father says this little girl is one of a kind.  I'm not going to brag, I'm just going to say my daughter did the right thing and for what she did, she's my hero," says Langley.
