SOUTH BEND -

Felony charges have been filed against a suspect in last week's shooting on Fairview Ave., after he was arrested over the weekend in Indianapolis.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office filed charges for two counts of Felony Attempted Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury against Deloren Wilson for a shooting incident that happened on July 14 on the 400 block of E. Fairview St. Two people were injured in the incident.

FOX59 was on the scene Saturday as Wilson was arrested as the Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration in Indianapolis. According to prosecutors, Wilson is still awaiting transfer back to St. Joseph County.

According to court documents, Wilson forced his way into the home with a handgun drawn, and told residents inside to "give me the keys and give me the stuff," before a struggle ensued. During the struggle, prosecutors say Wilson shot one resident in the abdomen, and another in the face and shoulder blade.

Wilson's next court date will be set after he is transported back to St. Joseph County.
