A trial date was set Tuesday for the man charged for a fatal accident in Osceola that killed a Mishawaka mother of three.

Kyle Papa, 23, was in court today facing three felony and two misdemeanor charges after an accident that left Amanda Ezra dead from severe head trauma.

Prosecutors say Papa was intoxicated when he was driving the van Ezra was traveling in the early morning hours of June 15, and say he left the scene after Ezra, 24, suffered fatal injuries. Papa is also accused for possession of marijuana and driving without a license.

Papa is next scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 22. His trial is set to start on Oct. 7.
