Benton Harbor Heritage Hike will take people through historic downtown Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR - There's a lot of history in Benton Harbor and you can see it all on a Benton Harbor Heritage Hike.

For two consecutive Fridays, July 25 or August 8, a guided walking tour will take people through historic downtown Benton Harbor.

The Benton Harbor Heritage Hikes are led by a staffer at the Heritage Museum and will lead the trip through Benton Harbor's historic downtown and arts district. The tour includes historical landmarks such as the Farmers and Merchants Bank, the Vincent Hotel, Brammall Industrial Supply, the State Theater, the Fidelity Building, and several other businesses.

The tour covers about an hour and a mile of Benton Harbor's historic downtown district beginning at the Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park on the corner of E. Main and Pipestone Streets at 10 am.

The cost is free but a $5 dollar donation would be appreciated.
