A Team Effort

We offer a comprehensive team approach that includes regular Breast Forums, a time when health professionals from all areas of breast cancer treatment—radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, nurses, technologists, and therapists— come together to develop a cohesive plan of care for each patient. This high quality, cost effective method improves the quality of your medical treatment by bringing the best people and resources together in one place with your best interest in mind.

The Memorial Regional Breast Care Center is committed to educating women about breast health practices, helping women understand the value of screening mammography, and providing physical and emotional support in the event breast cancer is detected. We know the fears and concerns that breast cancer screening can arouse. That's why each woman who comes to the Breast Care Center is treated with the utmost care, respect and dignity. You will be supported throughout screening, diagnosis and treatment by physicians, nurses and technologists who stay current on the latest knowledge and technology in breast care. While you are in our care, you'll have access to the newest information on cancer-related issues to help you and your family better understand your condition and treatment program.
