Dr. Maher received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and his medical degree from The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (Midwestern University). Postgraduate training included a pediatric residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. In addition to responsibilities as a Pediatric Hospitalist, he is also a board-certified Pediatric Hematology Oncologist.
