2.5# Raw Flank Steak
8 ounces Hoisin Sauce
1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped scallions or sesame seeds for garnish
20-30 4" wooden skewers soaked in water
First mix hoisin sauce and chopped garlic together in medium sized bowl. Set aside half of the mixture to use for dipping sauce. Then slice flank steak into thin strips against grain of meat and place in sauce mixture in the medium bowl and let marinate for at least 24 hours up to 48 hours. Then thread meat slices on skewers and place on a cookie sheet. To cook either place skewers in single layer on cookie sheet in preheated 425 degree oven for 7-12 minutes depending on desired doneness. Or place on preheated grill and grill each side for 2-4 minutes or until desired temperature. To serve place dip in a small bowl on a plate and place skewers around it and garnish with chopped scallions or sesame seeds.
